Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film usually that are in the genre of martial arts and horror. genre. The style is similar like The Cinema Snob but tending towards action-oriented dumb films and some morbid pleasure from the genre. The reviewer began her journey in the latter half of 2009 and, after garnering some recognition on their forums (under the old name Obscurus Lupa) she joined the ranks of the Channel Awesome family. The site remained active until mid-2015 when Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. Two of her podcasts are co-hosted and also covers Charmed. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She began reviewing films late in 2009. After gaining fame on Channel Awesome forums, she was asked to be part of the reviewing family. Her appearances have included a variety in Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. She along with Doug Walker were once members of Channel Awesome. They would often appear on episodes of Nostalgia Critic.
