Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, wrestling BJJ and BJJ, she had her first professional fight against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd felt more confident following the win and fought 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated by the start of the round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen by unanimous decision. The loss put a mark on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd was victorious in her subsequent bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 mark. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, and defeated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move up to Bantamweight after winning the fight against Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill with a TKO during the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen was then able to fight Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight of 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight but Aspen won and beat Hoy via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final bout with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina through her ground and pound techniques, resulting in an TKO 2nd round win. Her next fight, against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229, her victory was even more stunning. Ladd won the fight in round one and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes was in the UFC's Fight Night dos Anjos Lee match with Eubanks' Sijara was her first fight that she's had in a major role. Both fighters fought one of the most competitive fights that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. Both fighters were awarded the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds, breaking her losing streak. in the 3rd round on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. It was a unanimous decision against her.
